William Martin @VPCommsDir - This is ridiculous. The Vice President wasn’t keeping a low profile, he was just at Dover Air Force Base paying respects to six American heroes killed overseas.
He was also on primetime TV this week after the start of Operation Epic Fury.

Vance was noticeably absent from the President’s summit in Doral, Florida this morning – continuing what appears to be a deliberate lower profile since the war with Iran began.
He’s also keeping a lower profile on social media and cable news as the war has put Vance –- a longtime skeptic of U.S. intervention overseas -- in a politically tricky position.
In the lead-up to Saturday's strikes, Vance made his reservations about the strikes known internally, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News.
Once it became clear that the decision had been made to move forward, Vance shifted his focus to limiting casualties and pushed to move quickly on a strike out of fear that the plans could leak if the administration waited longer to engage, possibly leading Iran to attack U.S. troops in the region, the source also said.
