The NYPD should have been on high alert, the proper units should have been deployed in force, and front line officers should have been fully equipped in riot gear (hats and bats) ready to make mass arrests, instead of sending Community Affairs cops and then scrambling once the scene turned chaotic.
The situation turned chaotic because you FAILED and allowed it to.

John Konrad V @johnkonrad - To all my new followers. One of the most popular reoccurring posts is my “overheard in my Massachusetts local liberal elite coffee shops”
I live in a very liberal town in a liberal state and the things I overhear are utterly ridiculous.
Further they hold marches and rallies against Trump all the time. Almost every weekend there are people holding signs and cars honking as they go by.
I was expecting another bi rally.
I was expecting angry coffee shops comments.
Nothing this week.
Nada.
So I call over a half dozen liberal family and friends across the nation.
They all said the Iran strikes just aren’t a big topic of conversation.
Strange.
Why?
Maybe it’s just my town?
IDK
Plenty about Kristi Noem, but nothing about Iran.
X had its biggest week in the history of Twitter… and I’m hearing mostly silence.

The Joint Staff @thejointstaff - A message from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine:
It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of six American heroes from the 103rd Sustainment Command U.S. Army Reserves out of Des Moines, Iowa: Major Jeffrey R. O’Brien, Captain Cody A. Khork, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan, Sergeant First Class Nicole M. Amor, Sergeant First Class Noah L. Tietjens, and Sergeant Declan J. Coady.
These quiet professionals represented the very best of our Nation and we are filled with deep gratitude for their selfless service, valor, and sacrifice. They stood the watch to carry our Nation's burden, and we are forever in their debt.
To their families, we grieve with you and pledge our unwavering support. We will never forget what they, and you, have given for our country.

Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley - I am not sure which is worse: Biden telling people yesterday that "I am a hell of a lot smarter than most of you" or Newsom telling people recently that he is as dumb as they are. I am going with Newsom on this one.

Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley - ...Notably, both were discussing personal struggles: Biden's stuttering and Newsom's dyslexia. However, Biden was more of a clueless quip while Newsom was raising his lower test scores as a point of common identity with the Atlanta audience.
