Ben Williamson @_WilliamsonBen - Correction: the FBI Director fired people who were found to have acted unethically and violated the mission. And now some of those people are claiming they were the key holding everything together all along. Respectfully you have to be an idiot to buy this narrative. Quote: Natasha Korecki @natashakorecki
Last week, FBI Director Kash Patel fired a dozen FBI agents and staff as retribution for a Trump probe. The group Patel targeted? An elite counterespionage unit that specializes in Iran. @CarolLeonnig builds off of New York Sun reporting. https://www.ms.now/news/kash-patels-latest-firings-ousted-agents-with-expertise-in-iran

Bill Melugin @BillMelugin_ - Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is testifying under oath before the House Oversight Committee today regarding Minnesota fraud. Upon arrival, he ignored my question when I asked if he had any regrets about how he handled the fraud. Committee Democrats & Walz already talking about ICE and Operation Metro surge during opening statements.
I am in the hearing room and will post updates.
Expect fireworks and drama today.

Bill Melugin @BillMelugin_ - So far, every House Oversight Committee Democrat has wanted to talk about ICE instead of the Minnesota fraud scandal, despite fraud being the topic of the hearing.
Committee Republicans have been largely trying to pin down Gov. Walz & AG Ellison on what/when they knew re: fraud

Bo French @BoFrenchTX - We’ve won the battle, but the war isn’t over.
From Day One, this campaign has been about returning America First, pro-Texas leadership to the Railroad Commission.
With the help of the grassroots across Texas, we’re now one step closer to making that goal a reality.
The Primary Results are in, and I have made a runoff against Major Democrat Donor James Wright.
Voters sent a clear message - burdensome regulations, collaborating with the Democrats, and promoting racist DEI will NOT be tolerated by Texas Republicans.
But the field was crowded. No candidate got 50% of the vote. So we’re headed to a runoff on May 26th.
I would like to thank the other candidates who ran in this race and did not make the runoff. The sheer number of candidates who ran, and the fact that nearly 70% voted against the incumbent, show that Texans are tired of him.
I hope I can earn the support of each and every voter.
Texans will know on May 26th that true America First values will be restored to the Railroad Commission.

Brad Todd @BradOnMessage - As I said on the State of the Union night, Marco was the most popular person in THAT room, and it's because he's the most popular pol in America. Don't under-rate his stock, but also keep in mind Nikki Haley held this distinction in 2017.
