As soon as you have a problem with 'malinformation,' you are encouraging the creepiest kind of groupthink. It should have been a bipartisan freakout. It should have been left and right.
It got politicized in this very stupid way, where people on the left were pro-vaccine and pro-Big Pharma and pro-narrative, and people on the right were like, 'I'm going to take my chances.' And it was this ideological battle as much as it was a public health crisis.
I just thank God Elon bought Twitter. Because if he didn't, we would not have the kind of access to the actual truth or the real data. It would all be suppressed. You would never find out about it. We were in a real pickle. It was a bad spot. And it was just a few years ago, which is nuts."
