It was released in 2021 and funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the U.S. Department of Education under both the Trump and the Biden administrations.
Allen was a Harvard Ash Center panelist for the online meeting "What Does Democracy Need Now?" in late April 2025 with Norm Eisen, Bill Kristol, and others (see my pinned post). She is a Harvard professor who founded Partners in Democracy and chairs FairVote, a group that pushes ranked-choice voting nationwide, among other things.
All three organizations - Harvard Ash Center, Partners in Democracy, and FairVote - are featured in the Mediators Foundation Healthy Democracy Hubs map, that collaborates billionaire philanthropists such as Soros, Koch and Rockefeller to amplify funding to state and local NGOs to fundamentally change our constitutional republic (using tactics for color revolutions).
