Attention soon focused on one victim, Daisie E. King, after investigators discovered her son, Jack Gilbert Graham, had bought large amounts of flight insurance on her shortly before departure. They also uncovered evidence of serious conflict between mother and son, along with Graham’s history of fraud and other suspicious incidents.
During a search of Graham’s home, agents found an insurance policy naming him as beneficiary, hidden away, along with materials consistent with bomb components. Confronted with the evidence and the lab findings, Graham admitted he built a time bomb with dynamite and placed it in his mother’s suitcase before the flight.
He was charged and tried for murder in Colorado, where the evidence showed the bomb had been planted to kill his mother for financial gain, even though it also killed dozens of others.

Father V @father_rmv - The discipline of Lent consists of three separate parts:
1. Corporal or External Fast:  including the abstinence from certain foods, drinks, and amusements during Lent. 
2. Spiritual or Internal Fast which consists of abstinence from all evil, namely, sin.
Saint John Chrysostom taught that the "value of fasting consists not so much in abstinence from food but rather in withdrawal from sinful practices." 
And Saint Basil the Great explains: "Turning away from all wickedness means keeping our tongue in check, restraining our anger, suppressing evil desires, and avoiding all gossiping and swearing. To abstain from these things—herein lies the true value of fast!"
3. Spiritual Change achieved by the practice of virtues and good works must be the main objective of our fasting.

FBI @FBI - CASE UPDATE from @FBISacramento: A Bakersfield, CA man has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to illegally possessing dynamite and manufacturing crystal methamphetamine.  
According to court documents, Matthew Henry Jacober was prohibited from possessing explosives following a 2021 felony conviction for making a destructive device without a permit. In July 2025, Jacober was found to be hiding 50 pounds of dynamite in a cave that was 10 to 15 feet from a travel trailer where he was residing, and where he was in the process of manufacturing crystal methamphetamine.
