The Left's trick is to make you think that you are alone.
This doesn't just apply to interpreters -- it also applies to the Deaf, to the Black, to the managerial class, to whatever demographic you can think of.
I've dealt with this for over an year now. The temptation: "everything that Demographic X has said about me on social media is overwhelmingly negative. All of Demographic X hates me."
That's the victimhood trap.
In reality, when I've actually shown up in person, wherever I go, I get Deaf people who are in near-tears about how they finally feel like they're not being gaslighted for the first time. I get excellent turnout.
I think this is how human nature works:
About 5-10% are hyper-vocal.
About 50%-60% aren't vocal, but will go with what's vocal not because they actually believe in the cause, but because it's the easiest thing to do.
The remaining 40%-30% disagree, and are silent because they are smart enough to know speaking up will cost them everything.
The very best thing us on the Right can do is ... support that 40% wing who disagree, but do not feel empowered to speak out against that super-vocal minority.
And where I've done in-person events, there's been an excellent turnout by grateful Deaf. And for me who does have an identity in being Deaf ... that is something that is amazing, touching, prevents me from falling into the trap of "they hate me."
You are not alone, Jaimie. Nor is anyone else in a particular demographic or profession.

I am an interpreter too. I was following DataRepublican before she was doxed. I had no idea she was Deaf. Not a lot of right leaning terps. I am professional and stay neutral in all my work. My cohorts do not. They are very openly liberal and I find this a bit unethical.

David J Harris Jr @DavidJHarrisJr - Video: Flashback footage from the 1999 Rainbow PUSH Coalition conference shows Rev. Jesse Jackson praising Donald Trump's commitment to minority hiring and calling him a friend who was inclusive and supportive.
President Trump has always been a friend to the black community.

David J Harris Jr @DavidJHarrisJr - An upset Florida father says he had to leave work in the middle of the day to pull his kid out of school after students launched an anti-ICE protest.
“You have, like, a thousand kids on the overpass, one just about got hit by a car.”
“Kids shouldn't be involved in that sh*t. This is for learning. I have to leave work because while I'm working, I have to worry about what you're manipulating my kids into listening to. It's bullsh*t”
The madness needs to END!

Debbie @glenys1971 - She's a German billionaire countess. She sat on the UK's NHS health board advising on patient data. She invested in Israeli tech alongside a former prime minister. And her name appears 3,475 TIMES in the Epstein files.
Nicole Junkermann emailed Jeffrey Epstein: "Will you have a baby with me? Where is the best place to do so?" She called him "baby" and "Mr. Wonderful." Flight logs show she was on the Lolita Express going back to 2002, and their emails continued AFTER his 2008 conviction for trafficking minors.
When the Me Too movement started, she emailed his lawyers: "Cross fingers it is just a wave, and it goes away again."
Since the files dropped she resigned from the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and got fired from Lancaster University. Her team says she was "completely deceived and misled."
3,475 mentions say otherwise.
