America 250: Reenactment - 1777 Battle of Princeton. Reenactors marked the January 1777 Battle of Princeton during an event held at Princeton Battlefield State Park in New Jersey. The battle is considered a key turning point in the Revolutionary War as it led to a British retreat from New Jersey.

America 250: Preserving George Washington's Mount Vernon Home. American History TV took a rare behind-the-scenes tour of George Washington's Mount Vernon mansion as the house undergoes extensive work to preserve the 18th century structure, which draws one million visitors a year.
