His family confirmed the news a day after he posted a worrying Instagram post featuring photos of Leslie Cheung and Amy Winehouse, along with a message saying "Missed, jealous, sorry." 
A cause of death has not yet been disclosed. 
Jung began acting in 2003 and appeared in several notable dramas, winning awards at the SBS Drama Awards. His death comes months after another South Korean actor, Song Young-kyu, was found dead in his car.
