Given that I have a day job and this hobby takes up 20-30 hours of my time each week, I am now looking to hire one or more interns to assist me with research only.
The intern(s) will work remotely, between 2-4 hours each week (10-15 hours each month).
Duties:
1. Search through archives, mainly the Library of Congress and other scholarly, verifiable resources, to learn about stories that took place in 1927, 1977, 2002, 1777, and 1776.
2. Create practice summaries and writing exercises for educational feedback and critique, without using AI.
3. Practice fact-checking exercises using sample stories for training purposes.
In return, interns will receive educational guidance, feedback, and mentoring on their work, as well as something to add to their resume and a letter of recommendation within their field.
You should be:
1. A native English speaker, ideally from the United States, UK, Canada, or the British Commonwealth.
2. A high schooler or college student (this is an educational and mentorship-based opportunity, not formal employment) between the ages of 16 and 22 years old.
