President Trump deplaned at 2:02 pm local time from AF1. He stopped and pointed in pool's direction, but he didn't come over and chat in the 20 degree weather.
Susie Wiles came down the front stairs before he did and got into the beast. Scott Bessent came down the front stairs after him.

POTUS' motorcade arrived at Machine Shed Restaurant in Urbandale at 2:25 PM CST.
The president walked in to a round of applause from diners at 2:30 PM.
A diner shouted, "Welcome to Iowa." Another shouted, "Iowa loves you."
President Trump took a group photo then started walking table to table.
It was hard to hear based on overheard music and how far away POTUS is.

I'm told that the POTUS visit to Machine Shed is airing live on television, including the gaggle he just did in the middle of the restaurant with the pool, with diners serving as the audience.
He took questions on MN, on midterm travel, the dollar and Venezuela.
Also the family he took a photo with earlier was Zach Nunn's.
The president has continued moving table to table and is talking to diners as of roughly 2:45 pm CST. Hard to hear what he's saying, music is still playing overhead, but he did tell a table that we need a Republican governor.
Flagging that the last pool report was not numbered I sent it just as POTUS was approaching press for an apparent gaggle but would have been number four and this is five.

At 3:07 pm the pool was led out of the restaurant as POTUS wrapped in the main room. He got another round of applause.
He's scheduled to appear on Will Cain's show in this hour, according to the Fox News chyron that was showing while POTUS was in the air. (Fox News was airing en route to Des Moines).
Pool is currently holding in vans.

President Trump, as he neared press in the restaurant, asked a table, “What do you think, should I talk to them for a little while?” They laughed. “It’s always exciting. You all doing all right?” POTUS asked the press.
He then asked if reporters were going to the speech.
First question was about MN: do you plan to pull agents out of Minnesota?
“We’ll do whatever’s appropriate.” He went on to talk about securing the border, and shifted to gas prices, saying it was $1.99 in “many places.” Zach Nunn told him it was $1.89 in Iowa. That led to clapping. Trump said Nunn is an honorable man and prices are coming way down. He said that crime was coming down, also, including in Minnesota. “You know why? Because we took out thousands of criminals out of Minnesota. But Tom Homan is over there, we all love Tom. And he met with the governor, he met with the mayor, he’s going to meet with the mayor, I guess, and it’s going very well.”
