Attorney General Pamela Bondi @AGPamBondi - I have been in constant communication with @AAGDhillon today over these events which @TheJusticeDept is investigating at my direction. Any violation of federal law will be prosecuted.

The @CivilRights is investigating the potential violations of the federal FACE Act by these people desecrating a house of worship and interfering with Christian worshippers. @AGPamBondi

Attorney General Pamela Bondi @AGPamBondi - I just spoke to the Pastor in Minnesota whose church was targeted. Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law.
If state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, this Department of Justice will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails.

Autism Capital @AutismCapital - Some key issues with the algo:
1) The current algo incentivizes people to stay in their lanes. People are put into SimClusters. If you talk about things outside of your niche (finance, tech, games, etc), you get zero distribution.
- This makes absolutely no sense and is ridiculous. When people follow an account they follow the account because they like that account's takes. They want to follow along on the journey of that account. People have varied interests. If an account provides commentary, they can provide commentary on many things. And people/accounts also grow and change over time. The audience (when they follow) sign up for that journey with you. They want to be on the ship of your journey. When you force people to stay silo'd you neuter them and neuter what's natural. It's a stupid choice.
2) Blocks/mutes nuke your reach
- This is ridiculous as well because it is a well known fact that mutes/blocks are weaponized by bad actors who want to silence dissenting voices. These people use block lists or coordinate on discord/telegram to nuke block voices they don't like, and they share these block lists amongst each other as a way to pre-emptively attack voices they don't like.
To penalize people with a tool so easily gameable is an incorrect decision.
3) Your follower count means nothing
- This is also a bad choice because people spend years building their audiences over a period of time. People by clicking the follow button opt in to following that creator's journey. By not allowing followers to see the content of the person they are following, and by not weighting the following of an account (no matter how big or small), you disincentive people from building audience and instead turn people into slop machine factories in service of the algo. It is the opposite of democratization and is not creator friendly. It turns creators into disposable tools.

We have open-sourced our new 𝕏 algorithm, powered by the same transformer architecture as xAI's Grok model.

Bark @barkmeta - I read the code so you don't have to. here’s the breakdown:
1. reply to your comments. the algo weighs "reply + author response" 75x higher than a like. ghosting comments = strangling reach.
2. links kill visibility. put them in bio or pinned. never in the post.
3. watch time is king. if they scroll past, you lose. video/threads win because they stop the scroll.
4. stay in your lane. "SimClusters" are real. if you drift out of your niche (crypto, tech, etc), you get zero distribution.
5. blocks/mutes nuke your score. be polarizing, but don't be annoying.
TLDR: talk to your audience, build relationships, keep people on the app. it’s actually very simple.
good luck
