Texas AG Ken Paxton has initiated an investigation into major grocery chains over their practice of misting organic fruits and vegetables with an antimicrobial pesticide called Produce Maxx in-store, without informing consumers.
Produce Maxx is an EPA-registered antimicrobial pesticide whose active ingredient is hypochlorous acid (a chlorine-based compound) present in high concentrations in the concentrate. It is widely applied through misting systems in thousands of U.S. stores to help control bacteria, reduce pathogens, and prolong shelf life.
Shoppers purchasing organic produce typically expect it to be free from synthetic pesticide treatments. 
However, they are often unaware that this chlorine-based antimicrobial is being sprayed directly onto organic items while displayed on store shelves, potentially undermining consumer assumptions about what "organic" entails in the retail environment.

Brian Ward @GodsRiddles - Breaking and DISGUSTING....for the second time, the Supreme Court refuses to correct a lower court's error of law. The Fifth Circuit held that a person can be required to inject unlicensed investigational drugs, become a human research subject, and waive their rights to sue if and when injured from the drugs, despite Houston Methodist having a federal contract denying them such authority. The ruling violates 42 USC 289 and the Federalwide Assurance, and that's why the district, appellate, and now the Supreme Court refused to acknowledge the contracts' existence. I now believe the Supreme Court is actively working to amend federal law to subject this nation to biomedical experimentation and force the waiver of its constitutional guarantees.
