White House History @WhiteHouseHstry - On a cold winter day in 1918, Mary Church Terrell received a call from the National Woman’s Party headquarters with a familiar request: “Will you come to picket the White House this afternoon?”
The suffragists, led by Alice Paul, planned to gather in front of the White House gates to pressure President Woodrow Wilson and members of Congress to support women’s suffrage.
As a dedicated advocate for women’s voting rights, Terrell joined frequently to picket the White House.
Terrell’s involvement in the suffrage movement began several years before she joined the picketers.
In 1896, she helped found the National Association of Colored Women (NACW) and was elected as its first president.
On February 18, 1898, Terrell spoke before NAWSA and advocated for the inclusion of African-American women in suffrage organizations.

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - Walz Is Wrong: President Trump’s Immigration Policies Are Saving Lives
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Walz Is Wrong: President Trump’s Immigration Policies Are Saving Lives
What exactly does Tim Walz find so objectionable about enforcing our nation’s immigration laws? In his pathetic, inflammatory press conference today, Walz bizarrely claimed (https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/2009322756698251394) “there is no verifiable evidence” that President Donald J. Trump’s immigration enforcement operations are “making America safer.”
Radical Left lunatics like Walz, blinded by their deep delusions and seething hatred for President Trump, have become completely untethered from reality ignoring the indisputable evidence that President Trump’s immigration policies are literally saving lives:
