White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - 📰 White House in town pool report #4 - More Trump remarks
POTUS on Venezuela: “It was brilliant tactically and it was an incredible thing.”
On Maduro: “He is a violent guy. He gets up and he tries to imitate my dance a little bit… he’s a violent guy and he’s killed millions of people. He has tortured.”
On the military: “Nobody can take us, nobody.”
POTUS said: “Nobody has the quality of our weapons, the problem is we don’t produce them fast enough. We’re going to start producing much faster… We’re telling our defense contractors, you’re going to start building faster.”
He called for legislative action on voter ID: “We want voter ID, voter identification. The only reason somebody doesn’t want that is because they want to cheat. Our elections are crooked as hell, and you can win, not only win elections over that and not only win future elections, but you win every debate because the public is really angry about it.”
POTUS said: “We’ve got to straightened this out before it gets too crazy. California is more corrupt than any place. California is more corrupt than Minnesota and I won Minnesota.”
The president on midterms: “we can’t let them forget that we did such a great job on the border.”

White House Press Pool Reports @WHPressPool - White House in town pool report #5 - more Trump and departure
POTUS ended his remarks at 11:35 a.m. His remarks lasted 1 hour and 24 minutes.
Some other highlights from his speech. He told House Republicans and Speaker Johnson directly to figure out how to “let the money go directly to the people” on healthcare.
“Let the money not go to the big fat cats and the insurance companies,” he said. “Let the money go directly to the people where they can buy their own healthcare.”
POTUS added that “healthcare has never been our issue,” but that “it should be our issue.”
Trump said he plans to meet with drug companies soon to push them to lower prices.
