Goodlander Statement on American Military Action in Venezuela
Granite Staters are feeling the pain of a full-blown affordability
crisis in America, and President Trump is focused on running
another country.
The President's address to the nation about the large-scale military
action he unilaterally ordered on Venezuela without congressional
authorization or a credible explanation leaves the American people
with more concerns and questions than answers.
President Trump has asserted that the United States will 'run'
Venezuela in the wake of this action. How will this make the
American people safer? How will this address the real pain Granite
Staters are feeling because of the sky-high cost of living here at
home? And what is the legal justification for such an action?
The United States Constitution entrusts the United States
Congress with war powers for very good reasons. The Trump
Administration must immediately and truthfully answer questions
about the motivation and legality of this unilateral military action,
the potential for any further escalation, and the plan for peace. The
American people deserve answers and accountability, and I will
not back down until we get both.

Constitutional Nobody @TrueGritNewsMan - My cousin, Eric, died from fentanyl poisoning. His sister, Kristine, is a force of nature.
At 30, and after being diagnosed with 2 brain tumors, her abusive husband cheated on her and threw it in her face. She got nothing in the horrible, dragged out divorce. She's since had 11 brain/cranial surgeries and is on Disability. Because of the surgeries, she's deaf in one ear and has trouble speaking. I visited her in the hospital as often as possible when no one else did or could.
Three years ago, her brother, Eric, and her father died within weeks of each other, a few years after her mother passed.
After all this, she was on the front page of NY Newsday and interviewed on all the local news shows in NY state. Why?
She loved Jesus so much that, after endless surgeries and a horrible life, she donated a kidney to her co-worker's husband, a complete stranger.
Can you imagine the strength? I aspire to be like her. I help her whenever I can but it's never enough IMO.
