"This year in 2025, FBI Jackson's Community Outreach Program provided 9 sextortion awareness presentations and 3 elder fraud presentations. FBI Jackson also hosted #CommunityOutreach one Citizens Academy session, one Teen Academy session, and two Interfaith events.  In the fall, #NationalNightOut FBI Jackson engaged with the community via participation in National Night Out in Jackson, Mississippi. FBI personnel handed out flyers and brochure promoting various programs. #CommunityOutreach The Evidence Response Team also shared insight on how the FBI conducts evidence collection. Our @FBI Counterintelligence Division has been on the cutting edge of the FBI’s priority to rebuild public trust through increased transparency, accessibility, and responsiveness to Congressional oversight. 
Traditionally, FBI counterintelligence has operated in the shadows, rarely publicizing and promoting their initiatives and arrests. This year, however, we’ve directed the FBI to be as transparent as possible. 
Our counterintelligence team, together with our Office of Congressional Affairs, released hundreds of documents and provided numerous briefings to Congress, and they continue to work with our Congressional oversight committees. Proactive transparent information sharing benefits all parties and helps to highlight our longstanding efforts to crack down on both traditional and emerging counterintelligence threats impacting the American people and our economy, to include smuggling dangerous biological materials into and out of the United States and our adversaries’ transnational repression efforts to intimidate individuals living in our country. We look forward to even more robust engagement next year.
