Cam Higby @camhigby - Video: $800,000 FOR FAKE DAYCARE?
I went to the listed address for “Hilowle Safia Daycare” in Kent, WA. Residents say there IS NO DAYCARE HERE.
Records show massive subsidy payments following inspections reflecting risk of death to children.

Candace Owens @RealCandaceO - Update! Cabot Phillips has responded to my text to clarify matters:
1) We weren’t imagining things. His beard didn’t magically grow overnight as some suggested. He pre-recorded the segment a few days earlier and then it was later released on the 8th. (Not atypical if someone goes on vacation)
2) He did coincidentally go away over an extended weekend, not to Arizona but to New York City with his brothers from Friday through to early Monday.
3) Entirely unclear why he couldn’t just respond to my text since I messaged him in earnest BEFORE we published any claims at all.

Captain Mark Kelly @CaptMarkKelly - This will go a long way in helping so many Arizona families who’ve been struggling under the burden of medical debt. Thankful to have a governor like @KatieHobbs, who is lowering costs, improving lives, and supporting working Arizonans.

Katie Hobbs @katiehobbs
I’m thrilled that nearly half a million Arizonans get to end the year with this weight lifted off their shoulders, and we’re looking forward to erasing even more in 2026.
If you receive a letter from Undue Medical Debt, make sure you open it!

Carol Rosenberg @carolrosenberg - Here I am recapping some articles, exclusives and explainers you may have missed in the crush of news in 2025.
Let's start off with an off-beat long read we published on a very busy weekend.

Carol M. Swain, PhD @carolmswain - “He explained that senior academic appointments at Harvard before the 1990s followed a "two-book standard. Appointees were expected to have published two books, one typically a graduate or doctoral dissertation republished as a book, and another showcasing the academic's expertise on a given subject, before their appointments.
Claudine Gay, Harvard’s first black president, had zero books and a thin resume of work with ideas lifted from others, including yours truly.
