Anatolij Sharij @anatoliisharii - Just yesterday, many people were struck by how “powerfully” Zelensky was received at the airport in the United States. He was met by the pilot of the plane he arrived on, the Ukrainian ambassador to the U.S., and her driver.
So, in case you didn’t know, the new Ukrainian ambassador to the United States is Olha Stefanishyna.
Olha Stefanishyna has been under trial for corruption for six years now.
However, the court proceedings have stalled because Olha Stefanishyna simply does not attend court hearings.
This is a Ukrainian know-how. If you don’t want to be convicted, just don’t go to court. She is a corrupt official who committed her acts of corruption back during Yanukovych’s time.

Andrew Follett @AndrewCFollett - This is extremly important...but not the zaniest thing Marx thought.
He also thought that humans should be evenly distributed accross landmass in utopia.
So equal numbers of people living in Antarctica as the Bahamas.

ThThe reason stuff like this is so important (and very funny) is it exposes that Marxists will defend everything Marx ever said. They don’t treat him like an academic, they treat him like a prophet. Could Marx have come up with some good ideas despite being too dumb to understand calculus? Sure! But Marxists will defend 0/0 anyway, because to them, he’s Jesus. Once you accept that he had a flawed understanding of math, you might accept that his “labor theory of value” was also wrong, which means he had a flawed understanding of economics. Then you might start looking at things like the Mongol invasions and think “hmm maybe there’s more to history than class struggle after all?” And if the guy didn’t understand math, or economics, or history, well then maybe this whole communist revolution isn’t going to happen the way he thought. And anyway didn’t he think it was going to happen 200 years ago? Am I following some millenarian cult leader who keeps pushing back the end of the world? Can’t let those thoughts in. So dx/dy = 0/0.

Karl Marx proved calculus is fake in 1881. Truly the greatest mind of our age. Yet your capitalist math teacher will still make you do your homework. Curious
