Somali-linked criminals in Sweden are accused of STEALING over a billion SEK (~$100M+ USD) in school and preschool grants, reports the Expressen.
Investigations show they ran fraudulent operations: fake invoices, shell companies, diverted millions to personal luxuries (sex clubs, luxury hotels), extremist groups, and even wired money to an Islamist political party in Somalia.
As the probes have intensified, numerous key players have FLED Sweden to the Middle East, and elsewhere, leaving MILLIONS in unpaid tax debts.
The latest school grant scandal follows earlier Somali-heavy welfare scams in “homework help programs,” enough fraud to force the BAN on direct grants to non-profits.
The government has demanded the funds back, and criminal probes have been launched, but VAST sums are still missing and will likely NEVER be recovered.
