Garrett Graff, "The Devil Reached Toward the Sky". Historian Garrett Graff discussed his oral history of the development, testing and deployment of the atomic bomb in August 1945. He tells the story from the perspectives of scientists, political and military leaders, crew members of the B-29 bombers, and survivors of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
