Today the Court sided with President Trump in the firing of FTC Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter, citing the precedent from Spicer v. Biden... the same case that affirmed Biden’s authority to fire me from the Naval Academy Board. That ruling now gives President Trump the same power over Democratic appointees. The Court will also take up Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, a case that could shift as many as 12 seats to Republicans in the South, as well as birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants, and the legality of tariffs as Trump prepares to direct $12 billion to American farmers. @willchamberlain of @Article3Project joins me to unpack all of it.
