Wojciech Pawelczyk @WojPawelczyk - Yesterday, members of the Polish National Security Bureau (BBN) came to the U.S. to discuss the new U.S. National Security Strategy.
The Polish delegation, the first one from Europe, was invited by the U.S. National Security Council. This clearly shows how important Poland is as a U.S. ally. The visit program included a meeting with Deputy National Security Advisor Andrew Baker and Daniel Zimmerman, assistant to Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth.
According to Nikodem Rachoń, advisor to the head of the BBN:
"This is an important visit that comes just a few days after the publication of the U.S. National Security Strategy. We are the first European delegation to have the opportunity to discuss the details and intentions behind this document. These were very good talks that show the Americans are open to expanding security cooperation with Poland on a bilateral basis."
The BBN is a Polish government agency responsible for performing tasks assigned by the President of Poland regarding national security.
