Boasberg once again misrepresents the facts of what happened that evening-he had said he wanted the planes, already out of US airspace, returned to the US not back into US custody per say-and now demands in person testimony by asst. US attorney Drew Ensign, the prosecutor on the case during the early stages of the proceedings, next week.
Also-why is the ACLU (plaintiff) involved? As Trump's DOJ has rightly pointed out, they are not a party in Boasberg's criminal contempt inquiry. Why is the ACLU responsible for producing "whistleblower" Erez Reuvini, the former DOJ employee now employed by a leftwing legal activist group.
If Boasberg wants to hear from Reuvini-which he said publicly last month--he should compel his testimony not task a third party to do so.
