I was subpoenaed to appear before the grand jury in November. I sat down with an assistant U.S. attorney, an FBI agent, and a representative from the FHFA OIG. And instead of questioning me about the actual evidence in the Adam Schiff case, they questioned me about the investigator. Not the documents. Not the filings. Not the sworn statements. The investigator.
You know as well as I do that the evidence in the Schiff case is straightforward. The evidence in the Letitia James case is straightforward. These are not complicated fact patterns. They are cut and dry.
So what is happening inside the Department of Justice? Why is the focus drifting away from the crimes and toward the people uncovering them?
America deserves transparency. America deserves accountability. And America deserves answers.
