Shadow of Ezra @ShadowofEzra - Video: Rep. Randy Fine has introduced the No Antisemitism in Education Act, a bill that would strip schools of their funding if they engage in criticism of Israel that the government deems unacceptable.
The bill lists several examples of what it considers antisemitic, including:
• Making dehumanizing or stereotypical claims about “Jewish power.”
• Accusing Israel or Jewish people of staging false flags—classified in the bill as “imagined wrongdoing.”
• Suggesting Jews are more loyal to Israel than the United States.
• Any form of Holocaust denial or mockery.
• Using offensive symbols to ridicule Israel.
• Rejecting Israel’s right to exist.

Shipwreckedcrew @shipwreckedcrew - I understand the problem - I've said so here many times. But Sen. Grassley is the Chairman of the Judiciary Comm. I have not heard him say that the Dems have now corrupted the blue slip process and are using it for the very purpose of preventing the Admin. from filling US Attorney positions.
This has forced the Admin. into this game of musical chairs with Interim and Acting US Attorneys, bringing them into conflict with the District Judges.
The tradition is allowing the Dems to use it to sow chaos when the DOJ is responding to lawfare by the Dem. interest groups hundreds of times.
Someone with gravitas in the Chamber needs to be on the floor making the case for change.

Here we go again.
I want blue slips to go away.
I helped get rid of them for circuit judges in 2017.
Grassley isn't the problem here.
If Grassley holds a vote on any U.S. attorney, U.S. district judge, or U.S. marshal nominee without blue slips, the nomination will fail in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Because too many Republicans would vote NO.
Home-state senators do not want to give away their power to hand-select the U.S. attorney who would prosecute them, the U.S. district judge who would oversee their trial, and the U.S. marshal who would escort them to prison.
The solution is simple:
Have all Senate Judiciary Republicans and at least 50 Senate Republicans sign a letter saying this:
"We will vote to confirm President Trump's U.S. attorney nominees who lack blue slips from home-state senators."
Then Grassley can move forward with a committee vote.
But why would Grassley anger all his colleagues and waste limited committee resources, if the nominees will fail?

Sen. Grassley must kill the blue slip for Administration nominees like US Attorney.
Dem Senators are simply STOPPING Pres. Trump from getting nominees out of Judiciary Committee - by not returning their blue slips they prevent a committee vote.
Without a Maj. vote in Comm, nominees can't get to the floor.
Sen. Grassley needs to come to realization it is not 1990 any longer.
Comity is dead in the Senate. The Democrats will do ANYTHING in their power to throw sand in the gears of the Admin. moving forward with its policy changes.
