Tim Burchett: There's always room, ma'am. That's the difference between us and the Democrats.
They use the, as I like to say, the "stick and the carrot."
They reward you with the carrot or they beat you over the head with the stick, and that's why they rarely, they always vote in unison, and they never would allow a bill up until they had all their people whipped into place or bought off, legally, I guess, or whichever way they do it.
They do it better behind closed doors, and we don't.
We're vocal, and I think that's part of our strength.
People are going to argue or they're going to have differences.
But, I mean, President Trump's the biggest dog in the pound, ma'am, and you can take him on if you want, but the results are always the same.
