As someone who grew up in foster care, this moment means more than words can ever express. I know what it feels like to move from home to home. I know what it feels like to wonder if your future will ever be bigger than your circumstances.
But I refused to become a victim — I chose to become a victor.
And that’s the beauty of the American story. Only in this country can a foster kid rise up, build a life, and write a whole new chapter.
I created my own food company, Cousin T’s
I wrote my book, “From the Foster House to the White House,” to inspire people who feel forgotten, kids who feel invisible, kids who just need someone to tell them you can make it too.
To now be invited to witness an executive signing that will help foster children across America… it’s emotional. It’s humbling. And it’s a full-circle moment I’ll never take for granted.
I am deeply grateful to the First Lady and President Trump for this honor.

Texas DPS @TxDPS - DRUG BUST: @TxDPS K-9 Karma sniffs out 24 POUNDS OF SUSPECTED FENTANYL near Baylor University in Waco.
On Tuesday evening, a DPS Trooper conducted a traffic stop along I-35, less than a quarter mile from Baylor University’s campus. During the stop, K-9 Karma was deployed to sniff the vehicle after the driver exhibited indicators of organized criminal activity.
K-9 Karma and the DPS Trooper discovered 10 bricks of suspected fentanyl — weighing a total of 24 pounds — concealed in the vehicle’s floor. The driver was arrested and booked into the McLennan Co. Jail on felony drug charges.
Just 2 mg of fentanyl is enough to take a life — imagine the deadly impact of 24 pounds… DPS Troopers continue working every day to keep this dangerous drug out of Texas communities. #OnePillKills #ProtectAndServe
