For years, the media channels have not stopped slandering my beloved wife Sara.
Sara is a woman of valor, the mainstay of my life and family.
She is a true heroine.
She is the only wife of a prime minister in Israel's history who continues to work in her profession—and that as a specialist child psychologist in public service.
Throughout the entire war, Sara accompanies families of hostages, bereaved families, and wives of reservists, and supports them.
She has met for long sessions with hostages who returned from Hamas's hellish captivity.
Over the years, she assists lone soldiers, children with cancer, Holocaust survivors, families in distress, all while carrying out her daily professional work.
Sara also fights for the rights of animals who suffer abuse.
She assists me and the State of Israel greatly in meetings with world leaders, who recognize her unique abilities and wisdom.
President Trump calls her—"Bibi's secret weapon."
She does all this out of a deep mission and loyalty to national values, with inconceivable strength of spirit.
This strength of spirit is needed doubly so because over thirty years, in a systematic and cruel manner, she absorbs endless slanders and fictitious lawsuits in an ongoing campaign of character assassination, brainwashing, and trampling of who she truly is.
All this happens only because she is my wife.
The same happens to my son Yair.
He acts vigorously, with great talent and commitment, in the global public diplomacy campaign for the State of Israel.
He faces hostile attacks but continues to fight for the justice of our path out of deep patriotic love for the Land of Israel, the People of Israel, and our state.
Like Sara, Yair too is relentlessly smeared only for being a son of the Netanyahu family. Both are also threatened by incited people who threaten to murder them.
I've already learned that there is no limit to the wicked envy that brings this burning hatred from people in the opposing camp.
And precisely because of that, I cannot understand or accept the serial joining in attacks against my wife and son by people like Yinon Magal and Amit Segal.
I don't understand their obsession with hurting them again and again. Haven't they slandered Sara and Yair enough that Yinon and Amit feel the need to join the venomous choir of evil against them?
Like every person, and like every leader in the world, I come home and in the little private time I have at my disposal, I talk with my family.
I hear their opinions, just as I hear the opinions of many others, and then I make the decisions.
Over the years, many have come to recognize, as I have, the wisdom of their advice and the way Sara, with her sensitivity, understands people as few do. It's no wonder the saying "Sara was right" is heard more and more among the people.
For all these reasons, I want to make clear:
Any harm to my family, which gives me the strength and support to continue leading, is harm to me.
