Historic Vids @historyinmemes - In 2012, Japan gifted Putin an Akita puppy. Years later, when two Japanese journalists visited, he brought the dog out to greet them.

History Dame @history_dame - On November 3, 1883, the real-life outlaw Black Bart (Charles E. Boles) made his final stagecoach robbery.
Known as the “gentleman bandit”, originally from England, Black Bart served during the Civil War in the 116th Illinois Regiment and fought in major campaigns like Vicksburg.
After the war, he tried mining again (in Idaho and Montana), but a grudge against the employees of Wells Fargo & Company changed him.
His first documented stagecoach robbery was on July 26, 1875. He wore a flour sack mask with eye holes, a long linen duster coat, and a bowler hat. He politely told the stage driver: “Please throw down the box.”
He committed 28 holdups over his career, but he did not physically hurt anyone.
His downfall came when detectives from Wells Fargo used a laundry mark on the handkerchief he left behind (“F.X.O.7”) to track down the laundry, identify him, and arrest him.
He was convicted and served four years, was released in January 1888, and then vanished in February of the same year.
Fun twist: Remember the imaginary villain in A Christmas Story? Ralphie dreamed of defending his family from none other than Black Bart and his gang! Perhaps this very real stagecoach robber inspired the Western bad guy in the movie.

House Committee on Agriculture @HouseAgGOP - President Biden unilaterally expanded SNAP benefits by nearly $300 billion, and the nonpartisan GAO determined it violated the law.

Indiscriminate expansion? SNAP provides around $2 per meal.
Also, maybe check in with your policy team? Spending went up after Biden following a bipartisan law written by a Republican-controlled House. You could ask @CongressmanGT who was chair of the nutrition subcommittee?
