The idea leaped out of Sheen’s head when Maher mentioned how “a crazy percentage” of crime in American cities is actually committed by only about 600 people per city.
To this, Sheen replied: “So if you’re able to build statistics from that, you clearly know who the f*ck they are. So why not just take those 600 people and build a special place for them? Call it the 600 Building.”
Maher was visibly impressed when he heard this:
“That’s good. That’s very good. And this is why Republicans get elected, because Democrats run cities and they don’t do that.”

But right after they say that, they add, “I don’t know if he’s gonna win.”
It’s like there’s this psychological tug-of-war going on. People know who they want, but the nonstop polls and media coverage have them second-guessing themselves.
Even a migrant from Africa told me the moment I mentioned Zoran Mamdani’s name — his whole face changed. He said, “Don’t trust that guy. His values don’t align with American values — be careful.”
And Andrew Cuomo? Same kind of reaction.
What the polls are saying and what the people are feeling — it’s like two completely different worlds. Something about this race just doesn’t add up.
