US Embassy Jamaica @USEmbassyJA - Hurricane Melissa, now a Category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds near 140 mph and higher gusts, is expected to intensify further through tonight before fluctuating in strength. It is projected to make landfall in Jamaica as a major hurricane Monday night or early Tuesday. Melissa is expected to bring 15 to 30 inches of rain to parts of Jamaica through Wednesday, with isolated areas receiving up to 40 inches. Catastrophic flash flooding and landslides are likely.
This is a dangerous storm. U.S. citizens potentially in the path of the hurricane should decide whether to leave now while some flights are still available or be prepared to shelter in place. Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport and Ian Fleming International Airport in Ocho Rios closed last night, and Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport plans to close October 26 at 12:00 noon local time.
The U.S. Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica will be available for limited emergency services only October 27-31 and COM personnel have been ordered to safe havens. All routine ACS and visa appointments have been canceled. We will work to reschedule them as soon as possible after Tropical Storm Melissa.

Ahead of President Trump's historic visit to Japan, we welcomed Secretary Ratcliffe to the embassy. I am truly delighted.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - He is lying. We have placed detainers on criminal illegal aliens with existing final removal orders (which are far more legally final than any judicial warrant), and Chicago has let them walk free from incarceration into the shadows of its sanctuary city streets.
Sanctuary cities, BY DEFINITION, do not hold criminal illegal aliens for ICE.
