Starlink Mission: SpaceX’s Falcon 9 is targeting the launch of 28 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
There is the possibility that residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may hear one or more sonic booms during the launch, but what residents experience will depend on weather and other conditions.

Lectures in History: The Roanoke Colony's Disappearance. In 1587, colonists settled on Roanoke Island off the coast of North Carolina only to mysteriously disappear soon after. On the 35th anniversaries of Desert Shield and Desert Storm, this was a look at the 1990 diplomatic efforts in the Persian Gulf and the successful war coalition led the following year by President George H.W. Bush. Featured is former Ambassador Ryan Crocker who oversaw the U.S. State Department's response after Iraq invaded Kuwait. The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum in College Station, Texas, hosted this event.
