Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) @TennesseeEMA - (October 10, 2025 | 11:45 a.m. CT) The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) is supporting local officials in Hickman and Humphreys counties with the response of the explosion that occurred this morning at Accurate Energetic Systems in the Bucksnort area of Hickman County.
At the request of the local emergency management agencies, TEMA has deployed District Coordinators to support local response efforts. We are actively coordinating with local, state, and federal partners to assess the situation and provide any necessary assistance. Accurate Energetic Systems has established a Family Assistance Center and TEMA stands ready to assist the impacted families. The Tennessee Department of Health has not yet reported or confirmed any fatalities or injuries.
At this time, we urge the public to avoid the area to allow emergency responders to work safely and efficiently.
