The FBI’s search of lawmakers’ phones happened almost two months AFTER Jack Smith indicted President Trump for Jan 6. So why did his team need the data after Trump had already been charged?
As I said—either to supersede the existing 4-count indictment in the Jan 6 case or to add these lawmakers as co-conspirators and charge them as well.
