Drier air from the north undercuts deep moisture from the south, knocking today's rain chances down a little. Chances range from 20% to 30% in Daytona and Leesburg to 30% to 50% across the Orlando Metro, and extending south to Lake Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast. Stronger storms will be capable of occasional to frequent cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds to around 55 mph, small hail, and locally heavy downpours leading to minor flooding. A bit warmer with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 80s to mid 90s. A High risk of life-threatening rip currents continues at the Central Florida Atlantic beaches, and entering the surf is NOT advised
