BREAKING: Off-Duty NYPD Officers Targeted in Back-to-Back Robbery Attempts
In less than an hour, two off-duty NYPD cops were targeted in separate boroughs by masked suspects on scooters and motorcycles—both crews still at large.
- Bronx (52nd Precinct):
A scooter crew tried to snatch a chain off an officer before fleeing the scene.
- Brooklyn (70th Precinct):
A motorcycle gang circled an off-duty cop like sharks, attempting a robbery before speeding off.
Same tactic. Two boroughs. One message: No one’s off-limits.
These crews are getting bolder—now going after cops.

It wouldn't be a surprise to me if it was triggered by the megathrust M8.8 earthquake a few days ago.
Krasheninnikov volcano began its FIRST RECORDED eruption at 16:50 UTC on August 2, 2025. Initial explosions sent ash up to 3–4 km above sea level, later rising to 5–6 km.
The last lava effusion took place in 1463±40. No historic eruption is known. In 1963 traces of fumarolic activity were registered in the crater of the middle Northern cone.
