Julie Kelly @julie_kelly2 - Jeb Boasberg unhinged: I just received the transcript of July 24 hearing on his contempt case against Trump DOJ--halted by DC appellate court in April--and pending Alien Enemies Act litigation, which all started in his courtroom on March 15.
Boasberg is peeved that his colleagues on DC appellate court are extending the hold on his contempt investigation into Trump DOJ for failing to abide by his "oral order" to return 2 planes carrying AEA illegals.
The planes were already out of US airspace at the time Boasberg made the absurd command--he did not include that statement in a follow up written order the evening of March 15.
Nonetheless, Boasberg shortly thereafter accused the DOJ of defying his oral order and misrepresenting the fluid facts of the situation (it was a Saturday night.
But last week, he again warned he would take whatever action he could following decision by appellate court panel (2 Trump, 1 Obama appointee) into his contempt case...

Julie Kelly @julie_kelly2 - Interesting tidbit in Jim Clapper's 2018 memoir that seems to contradict the latest timeline.
Clapper says Obama ordered the Russian intel assessment on Dec. 5, not Dec. 6 as the recent CIA review of the ICA indicated.
Why? Obama appears to have been ticked off that Donald Trump was named Person of the Year by Time:
Clapper: "[The] public dialogue about Russian interference was heating up. Seeming to fear it called the legitimacy of his election into question, the president-elect responded defensively whenever the subject was raised.
In an interview with Time magazine on November 28, he countered a question on Russian activities with, 'I don’t believe they interfered. That became a laughing point, not a talking point, a laughing point.' Asked who he thought had hacked the Democrats’ email accounts and IT systems, he responded, 'It could be Russia. And it could be China. And it could be some guy in his home in New Jersey.'
We knew it was not someone in New Jersey, and I was fairly certain that President-elect Trump knew that as well.
