President Trump’s conversation with Zelensky followed a call earlier in the day between himself and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which Trump has since described as “bad” in interviews, “Volodymyr, can you hit Moscow? . . . Can you hit St Petersburg too?” Trump asked, with Zelensky responding, “Absolutely. We can if you give us the weapons.”
