New exclusive video I obtained via FOIA shows the moments a male registered sex offender entered women’s locker rooms in Fairfax County rec centers and being within close proximity of children. Richard Cox claims he’s transgender and witnesses say he exposed himself in women’s locker rooms.
This could happen again, Supervisor Pat Herrity warns, because Chair Jeff McKay and the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors haven’t done anything to prevent this from happening again.
FCPD hasn’t filed charges against Cox for his rec center visits last year and Steve Descano didn’t prosecute Cox in an earlier case when he allegedly exposed himself in a women’s Planet Fitness locker room.
It took me nearly three months to get this surveillance video from Fairfax County which is a long time for a Virginia FOIA.
