What I heard is that those people used to do these types of tricks to their own people for centuries before they started doing them on actual human beings. We're just seeing the how they actually are. Most of us just aren't used to this level of dirtbagness.

But, at least we can keep what they do in mind for the future. We won't get fooled again.
