US - Saudi nuclear deal.

I think they want to create a close-nuclear-weapon state out of Saudi Arabia to counter Iran's threat to it. It's an arms race.
Why do I think this?
The article says:

Which isn't proof of anything but they cite the Trump admin. talking about nonproliferation and keeping standards and shit:
“Rest assured, these agreements uphold the highest standards of nuclear safety and nonproliferation, while relying on the world’s best nuclear technology and scientists, designed right here in the United States.”
The Trump administration said the deal with Saudi Arabia will create jobs in the US, “reinforce global nonproliferation standards”, and strengthen the strategic partnership with Riyadh.

If they claim they won't do it, that's like stating that oh yes they will do. This one and a half year of Trump proved that enough.

Will this Saudi near-nuke-capable state will help to keep the peace better?
Iran enriching uranium not to initiate attacks, but if its necessary and attacked in certain way they could build a bomb quick and attack back. It's the threat of having one to keep would be attackers from action.
I think Washington is grasping to straws to prove they are handling the situation instead of fumbling. But they are fumbling on and dog knows what the consequences will be.
