yeah, there's plenty of "mid" price point bikes and frames that are pretty much endgame for the hobbyist
if the fredbeast want to spend money on something he doesn't need why even care
the thing is they should use that money to subsidize those consumer bike frames and take 1k off the price for those bikes
like cube sends race worthy bikes for 4k or something
