Yeah just get a used bike or build one cheap. I use my old beat up frame and bought a used mechanical 105 gruppo for peanuts as well as a 20e rim brake front wheel.
I renovated my rape dungeon btw, now I am looking at the boiler instead of the pipes. Seems like it worked as I feel fitter than ever.
