The only good thing I can say about is today we face a greater opportunity at nuclear proliferation. Now that Europe is arming Finland with nukes, perhaps Russia will arm Iran with nukes too. If Iran gets nukes, maybe Taiwan will get some too. Maybe then, the whole world will start to understand protecting national sovereignty against hostile behavior requires the ability to checkmate, a nuclear deterrent. In the meantime we can consider something besides the UN, perhaps AI can be used to reason with us very dumb human animals? Perhaps AI could enlighten humanity how to share our resources and have everyone prosper in peace while we have the deterrents too?
