No not necessarily true. Some are almost identical activated rip-off copies but not all of them are. It all depends on the programmers or source of whichever bootleg. There are some that are stripped down, debloated and lightweight. Some are very minimal, barely use up any hardware resources like RAM or CPU. I have tried Windows 10 bootlegs that work as well as Windows XP. Whether or not you like Microslop doesn't really matter when it comes to free stripped down knock-offs, they come in handy if you have software to use like WinRAR, DVDShrink, Nero Burning Rom or Foobar2000. Some p2p networks like WinMX only work with Windows so I use it or lose it.
