That’s kind of what I find interesting about Kay is that’s she’s consciously inhabiting a narrative that girls like Ciara created and experienced for the first time but she can’t break free from it. That everything she does and has happen to her is tacitly premeditated and accepted while her attitude to these real things is bored playfulness. Kind of upsetting.
