Let’s just say I know someone in my closed circle that had this type of stuff. Paranoid schizophrenia, etc. Well the parents in case of an episode like this immediately called an ambulance which would transport her to closed psychiatric hospital where she could be stabilised, given proper meds, and allowed to be normal and far from any suicide tool.  But yes it’s very hard to treat and they will often keep having episodes. 

But her saying that she stopped the antipsychotics cold turkey? You can read about it online, that is extremely dangerous. 

It’s just making me angry because I see people just like Katie who are taking their meds, doing their therapy, and surviving. Something slipped up in the system or family for this to happen and they’ll never forget it. 

And for her to even publicise it on twitter, I can tell you many people reading all this had second hand PTSD because we witnessed a suicide. It’s so bad man.
