Everyone is different. Personally I care about everyone of worth that dies in such a tragic manner, especially someone I connected with. People you don't connect with, you care less about which is most people online when it comes to deaths of people they don't know. That's fine.

Lots of what you say is correct and I've been told this argument a lot by people irl (not about her but in general). Still I'm a person with lots of empathy for others, and when someone dies due to mental issues and being connected to drug use, I can't help but think that the environment played a huge role. Obviously maybe it's her entire fault, but I can't help but suspect bad stuff happened. "considering how fucked she was mentally" - what do we know of the causes that led to this? Also, she also had a very intelligent creative positive side. I know many artists like this and they learn to manage their mental issues and get therapy. I feel that she was failed. And maybe I'm alone here saying this but even if it was a 18 year old incel guy that I knew or an ugly girl, I'd say the same thing.
