There's nowhere you can find the actual "lore" that is unbiased, least of all here. There are those who know more than me so I just put it simply with single words in 179207. 

To put it shortly, she grew up with a normal midwestern family with all of its benefits and issues. She gets into a relationship with Sam Hyde because she liked his comedy, and then when her mother splits them up. She gets doxxed on 4chan and using this info was tricked into posting nudes publicly. This is the basis of her fame and all happened when she was 15-16. The rest of her life is chan-adjacent, she mostly goes around the world seeing places and meeting guys. Then she hangs out with Alice Proudfoot for a while and streams. Then she stops and tries to kill her digital footprint. Now she may be married and might have a child based on strong circumstantial evidence.

I left out a lot like her college experience (camgirling) and her trips to random places trying to find meaning in her life etc etc.
